Postdoctoral Associate in Asteroseismology - Yale University
Description:
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research position in the Yale Astronomy Department to work in collaboration with Prof. Sarbani Basu on studies of stars through asteroseismology. The main focus of the research will be the analysis and interpretation of asteroseismic data from Kepler. Resources are available for research-related expenses and travel.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in astronomy or a related field by the date of appointment. Candidates with experience in asteroseismology and/or stellar modelling will be given preference. The position's start date is negotiable. The initial period of appointment will be two years.
