The Acoustic Solar Cycle

The HELAS NA3-4 Workshop, "The acoustic solar cycle", will be held at the University of Birmingham, UK, from the 6th to the 8th of January. The aim is to bring together experts from the observational and theoretical fields to discuss in detail our understanding of frequency shifts of acoustic modes, and to think about future requirements for both the observations and the theory in this area.

The workshop will comprise presentations and plenty of discussion. We intend to produce a report for the community as one of the outputs of the workshop, summarizing the discussions on future requirements.

Attendance is by invitation only, and will be limited to approximately 20 invited participants.
