Best regards, the LOC. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- *********************** * FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT * *********************** In this FINAL announcement you will find information on: 1 - Registration 2- Scientific programme 3 - Information for speakers and poster authors ________________________ 1 - REGISTRATION Registration will start on Monday morning, June 22, 2009 at the registration desk in the Academia Belgica from 08:30 to 10:30. Registration will be PAYED CASH at the registration desk (credit cards and checks will not be accepted). Registration fee for participants is 180 EUR and includes 1. Proceedings 2. Conference materials 3. Welcome cocktail on Monday 22 June 4. Lunches (except the lunch of Tuesday 23 June) 5. Coffee-breaks 6. Banquet on Wednesday 24 June 7. Internet access Accompanying persons will be freely admitted at the welcome party which will be given at the 'Caffe' delle Arti' on Monday evening 22 of June. For the accompanying person the cost of the banquet which will be held on Wednesday 24 of June is EUR 80. The cost of the tour to Villa D'Este of Tivoli organized by the LOC is EUR 42 for each (excluding the lunch) and it is not included in the fee. Please, if you have not done yet, log in at http://www.helas-eu.org/workshops/roma and complete the registration form with additional information: number of accompanying persons and participation to the tour. 2 - Scientific programme The scientific programme and the list of submitted abstracts are now available at the web page for the conference. Please consult the scientific programme to determine whether you have been allocated an oral presentation and the duration of your talk. We would be grateful if you could inform us of any information that you find to be incorrect or missing, concerning your contribution, so that the latter can be added/corrected adequately. 3 - Information for speakers and poster authors 3.1 - Talks: The scientific programme is organized in reviews of 40 minutes, short reviews of 30 minutes and oral contributions of 20 minutes. The time allocated includes time reserved for discussion. The auditorium will have a computer-screen projector. Please note that we will have a computer connected to the projector, so you will not need to bring your laptop in order to use the computer-screen projector. We highly recommend to bring your presentation on you own pen-drives or CD. Please contact the LOC if you have special requirements or needs for your presentation. 3.2 - Posters: There will be a sufficient number of panels available in a room adjacent to the conference hall for display of posters during the whole duration of the Conference. Individual panels (94cm x 124cm) will be provided. |
